I think Clemens will have something to say about that CY Young race. Anyhow, Carpenter has not had any playoff pitching experience. He may be raw around that hype, but I still think he will succeed. He has been a huge talent his last couple of seasons and the lineup he is pitching with will not hurt his chances any either. Yes, Carpenter will be the Cards ace in the playoffs, no doubt.

    On to the next topic:

In an odd turn of events Rush Limbaugh wants both crybabys Donovan McNabb and TO to come on his show to work out the differences.

``This rift cannot be allowed to continue, ladies and gentlemen. It just can't, and I would like to offer this program as a means of getting these two Americans and star players back together,'' Limbaugh said. ``They may not want to talk to each other face-to-face, but perhaps they would join me on this program and speak to each other telephonically via this program and settle this.''

Has the TO-McNabb thing gotten out of hand? Around the Horn to Ghetto.

out of hand? nah...flat out retarded? HELL ****ing YES! I know i'm probably going to get less than 2 points for this but i don't give a shiat. TO is feeding off of this press stuff and its getting rediculous. to the point to where i'm debating watching any football games at all. these guys are just all about their egos and not about their game. Rush can invite these two to his show, and probably only TO would accept, cause he'd just run his mouth. This isn't something you can solve on air--it has to be off air with no middle man.

Has it got out of hand? This thing has been so overhyped that I am getting tired of this story. But, the season hasn't even started! Imagine what this is going to look like if these guys play over the course of an entire season. McNabb has stated that he can throw the ball to TO and still go an entire season without talking to him. I can see it now. Eagles make the playoffs and during there celebration after a 76 yard TD pass to TO, they don't even acknowledge eachother?!? I don't think this is humanly possible. Is there anyone that TO can play with? I think he is a baby and should definitely settle down unless he wants to move to another team. If so, then get it done already!

Well..not only is it TO vs. McNabb, but now after a supposed elevator altercation with Hugh Douglas, the general feeling among Eagles players that they don't want him back. TO needs to shut up and suit up now. Unless he does that and plays and quits his whining, he won't play at all. The Eagles won't trade him (The Eagles have not been contacted by another team in the last 4 1/2 months about Terrell Owens) and they won't give him a new contract. TO doesn't need this money anyhow; it's not like he has 4 starving kids and a mortgage to pay off. What else he doesn't have is a choice: his only 2 options are A.) Play or B.) Sit at home. And right now it looks like TO will sit on his couch.

And let me say this: dragging your QB into a contract dispute is the characteristic of a slime bag. No one supports him anymore. McNabb is being a man about it, but is taking subtle shots at TO. Hell, even Jerry Rice thinks TO is being unprofessional!

First of all, who is Rush Limbaugh to try to set up a meeting between TO and McNabb? If I remember correctly, Rush was fired from ESPN for his lack of knowledge in the NFL. He said McNabb was overrated because the media pays too much attention to black quarterbacks. And then there was the Oxycotin addiction issue with Rush. Please go back to bashing Hillary, Rush.

The TO-McNabb is only out of hand if the Eagles management holds on to their word that they will not renegotiate a new contract with TO. IMO, TO is using McNabb as a whipping boy in his strategy to gain a new contract. He will say McNabb choked in the Super Bowl because he needs the Eagles to believe McNabb needs him to be a successful quarterback.

Mike Cameron just underwent facial surgery after that gruesome collison with Carlos Beltran. Buy or Sell Cameron having after effects from the injuries. Around the Horn to General.
