Figured I'd start this early with the US team announcement. Big surprise with Landon being left outta the squad

I got the news update and that surprised me, he's been one of our more consistant midfielder/attackers.

Someone is bound to pull out with an injury so he'll probably still make it but there aren't 23 more deserving players than Landon really

I get it... He's getting older and his body isn't holding up... He's admitted that in the past. I like the move to be honest. Just because you've been around for the past 12 years doesn't mean you automatically deserve a spot...

I am, however, surprised by the carrying of 3 goalies and when Tim Howard won't miss a minute...

I do like that Beckerman made the team, great talent!

I'll be excited to see how the U.S. fares in the group of death!

Marco Reus to miss the WC for Germany, puts a big dent in their title hopes while giving the US a better chance to escape the group stage

gotze, muller, kroos, ozil, schurrie, and podolski (when he feels like playing)...yeah, i think their midfield is going to be just fine against 'merica

Brazil take the 1st game over Croatia 3-1. The referee was pretty terrible, giving Brazil a penalty that they score and took the lead. Never looked back after that

Now we know what NHL refs do in the off season.

I still wonder if the refs are as corrupt as FIFA.

The refs are picked by FIFA so I'd guess yes

Rumor circulating right now that the World Cup in 2022 will be pulled from Qatar and FIFA has told the US to get a committee together
