    It was a heartbreaker. Played ok for the 90 minutes then 1 mistake at the start of extra time seemed to destroy them. They looks really good after Green grabbed that goal and if that free worked out it would have been talked about for ages. Howard was spectacular all game, but you can't rely on your keeper to stop everything while you generate very little offense. All said if nothing else comes from this loss, players like Green and Fabian Johnson will have a special hunger not to relive that in 2018

    First 90 minutes the game was in the usa end way to much. Injuries hurt us but we came close. We were In what I thought was the toughest group and we made it to the 16 teams. We fell short but we should be proud of team usa.

    The game was over as soon as Wondo missed the open net...

    That being said Green gave me lots to get excited for in 2018, kid is electric, no wonder Jurgen wanted him to play for the US so bad

    If I had told you before the World Cup that we would advance from the group of death and be in extra time with a group winner blind, you woulda snap took it... you have seen the steps Jurgen has made with the program, the drive to be the best is there and to never give up that wasn't always there...

    I just think 2018 will be interesting between Guzan and Howard... could be Donovan 2.0

    Tim Howard really needs to play on a big name club. Everton is alright but i'm talkin' clubs like PSG, Man U again, Bayern, Milan, etc.

    Sirigiu, DeGea, Neuer. He might be able to get into the Milan squad but he's facing equal competition in the Premier League and he gets Europa League football with Everton which he wouldn't get this year with United
