    Im back from 20 game suspension for beating up a camera man
    2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)

    First off..what else? Rafael Palmeiro has been suspended for 10 games for failing to comply with the substance abuse parameters set by the MLB. Palmeiro said today that he never knowingly used steroids. What do you make of the whole suspension? Around the Horn to Porter.

    How often do we hear the same I didnt knowingly used steroids coverup. It shocked me that he would be the 1st big name. Couldnt have been the Viagara could it? Anyways its pretty sad when you can beat up a camera man and get more games than testing postive with steroids for the 1st time. Get a hint Players Assoication and Selig!

    I'm so confused by this...I don't know what to say. The guy testifies in congress that he has never taken a steriod ever...and yet here he is today saying that he "not knowingly took steriods".

    This ultimatly hurts his chances of getting into the hall of fame without an (*) or something.

    But he's got bush's support, thats gotta amount to something?

    First of all, I was stunned when I heard the news earlier this afternoon. You have a guy that testified to the courts that he never took steroids. Period. That was then and this is now. He may have never taken them in March but accidentally took 'em recently. We don't know if those "steroids" were actually vitamins or supplements but we'll know soon. I still think he's a first-ballot hall of famer. He's such a classy guy who made a huge mistake and basically tarnished his career.
