in today's dallas morning news, there was an article stating that lance armstrong wouldn't come back to Plano, where he spent most of his highschool years, because of their football-crazed culture that denied him his well-deserved recognition in the 1980s as a champion swimmer, runner, and triathlete.
Then there was a dispute over graduation requirments that caused him to move to a difference school.
This was nearly 20 years ago. He won't come back to Plano because of these reasons. He's been holding his parades and such in Austin, his adopted hometown.
I live in allen which is litterally 30 seconds away from Plano. I goto school with Carly Patterson. It is a very-heavily based football culture, but i mean all of texas is.
Boys, does Lance need to suck it up and let the past be just that, the past? this is an issue that has been ongoing now on the news for a while now and i just wanna get your guys' imput on it, if any.
