Two rounds in the books, and here is how we stand:

Bipster absolutely wiping the floor with the competition; 26. The rookie, Realmofotalk, not far behind with a very respectable 24. Kingdom is bringing up the rear with 19. Ghettochild...well, he gone.

    Next up: Out of Bounds.

It's time to leave the playing field and go out of bounds.

Today's topic is Kobe's new shoe. Has it's own logo and everything. Guys, this guy nearly went to jail; is Nike being too aggressive with Kobe? Around the Horn to Bipster.

No, no, no, no, no.....I'm sorry, but anyone that thinks that Nike is being too aggressive with Kobe is an absolute dope. One, Nike held him out of their ads for around 2 years, and two, Kobe wasn't convicted of any wrong doing so he should be allowed to get advertising endorsements. Nike is a business and Kobe makes them a lot of money, Kobe already had a huge fan base, but now he has some street cred for his alleged misgivings. Nike, as a business should absolutely use this to their advantage and capitalize on Bryants fame. Besides the freedom of speech is covered by our rights so let them be.

Almost is nullified by the fact he got off. So he's not a criminal. He has the perverbal black eye after this mess, but Ray Lewis was caught up in something where someone was killed. That itself is a higher degree of horrendous nature, but he got off. And he's everywhere on T.V. come football season. Nike is doing what they feel will make them money cause Kobe will probably retain his popularity among the crowd who doesn't particular understand the prior alligations against him or the crowd who simply does not care. Much of the same way, why should we really even care?

Yes, Nike is being too aggressive with Kobe. While Kobe is still one of NBA's biggest superstars, he was also voted as the most hated NBA player according to one fan poll. Kobe will be labeled as a rapist by the public, whether that's the truth or not. That label is tough to shake off. Nike should turn its attention to its $90 million baby, Lebron James to go neck-to-neck with Reebok and AI.

Kingdom couldn't handle playing with the big boys..he gone.

Showdown time, where two men enter and one man's base will all belong to the other.

First topic: Darko. The Pistons exercised their option on Milicic, which will keep him under contract until 2007. Guys...will there be success for Darco without Brown? Around the Horn to Bipster.

this is a no-brainer, Darko will begin to progress without Brown. Brown is very well known for not taking the time to develop youngsters. Let's see here in the last 2 years Brown allowed Darko to play about 5 minutes per game, that isn't even enough to break a sweat, not to mention the fact that Darko only played in 39 games last year. Flip Saunders is coming to town and he has a pretty good reputation of developing young big men, anyone here heard of Kevin Garnett. Besides, Joe Dumars has shown that he knows talent when he put this team together, there is a reason he picked Darko that high
