Fans Get More Pleasure from Close Loss than Blowout Win?

The Wall Street Journal reports that sports fans supposedly prefer their team lose a close game than win a blowout. Couple things:

    1) Not true.
    2) I assume what they're actually positing is that a close game is more exciting. Even more interesting maybe. But fans definitely do not experience "more pleasure" from a loss. Ever.

    During the game? Perhaps

    After the fact, definitely not

I assume without looking at the link that Jerry Jones and his "moral victories" wrote this.
