when will the reds have a good manager that sees the talents of dunn and doesn't bat him lower than 5th?
rich aurillia, the vet, is batting fifth tonight, and the reds are down 2-1 and left 1 on base already because the vet struck out.
thanks dan o!
//edit and as i speak dunn just singled, which could have moved the runner over and kept that inning alive
reds win, reds win! and of course dunn ends up with 2 hr's tonight.
i also come runner up in ATH, and it was only my second show, my first show that i could prepare for.
but hey a reds fan won so its all good.
now i'm gunna restart my computer.
can i be manager of the reds? i'm sixteen and i know where to bat everyone and how to make this team win.
Will you bat Aurillia 5th or higher? If the answer is no, then you're better than whoever's managing now.

I call GM.
2003 Hybrid World Champion (115-47 reg season, 11-4 playoffs)
TBL: Anaheim Angels 2006-present (238-244 regular season, 1 division title)
MSL: St Louis Cardinals 2013-present (2734-2936 regular season, 5 division titles, 2 championships)
TSSL: Seattle Mariners 2006-2029, Pittsburgh Pirates 2030-present (209-277, 5 division titles w/SEA, 1 championship w/SEA)
heres how i would do it
vs RHP
f'lo-ss (killin RHP's this season)
freel-3b (.276/.356/.393)
griffey-cf (.295 vs rhp's, 15hr)
dunn-1b (.271 19 hr, perfect for cleanup)
kearns-lf (.237 against rhp, oh well, he's still hitting .600 this month)
pena-rf (.225 against rhp, still bad, but the only way he can do good is if he sees pitches)
aurillia-2b (obvious reasons)
larue-c (good clutch hitter)
PITCHER
vs LHP
freel-3b (.341/.540/.432 vs LHP)
kearns-lf (gives you that power/rbi RHB at the top)
griffey-cf (.285 vs LHP, pretty consistant)
pena-rf (KILLS, KILLS LHP at .344/.365/.705 for a 1.070 vs LHP)
dunn-1b (terrible vs LHP but he needs pitches, still has good OBP and SLG though)
f'lo-ss (gives them that switch-hitting flexibility at the bottom of the lineup...usually when they bring in MR or CL...god forbid its a RHP)
aurillia-2b (again obvious reasons)
larue-c (see above)
PITCHER
i would trade casey for a MR and a spect
i would send hudson down to AAA and call up chris booker
i would send down Jason Standridge, and call up Jimmy Searrno.
harang
milton
ortiz
searrno

I personally like Felipe better out of the 2 hole. He is much better when it comes to RBI situations IMO. Plus Freel is your classic leadoff hitter out of the mode of Ricky Henderson without the power. Plus what about giving Ed E a chance since theres about a 10000000000000 to 1 chance of Aurilia being here when/if the reds compete.
