Well, Charger fans ought to be thrilled a sixth-round grade prospect is what they have to show for after a year that saw Antonio Cromartie regain his Pro Bowl form for the Jets.Quote:
Pro Football Weekly draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki: This is the first "wow" pick of the draft. Mouton is a converted safety who graded out in the sixth round. He does not play with much physicality and likely was drafted to help fill the Chargers' shortcomings in their nickel defense. GM A.J. Smith reached big time to fill a need pick with ILBs Kevin Burnett and Stephen Cooper both unsigned and potentially not returning.
The draft thread is now complete. I can sleep easy at night.
No, not until we get a Buster Davis comment.
By the way, good start on paper for Detroit, Buffalo, and friggin' Cincinnati. The world will now end.
By the way, it took me awhile a couple of years ago to realize Craig Davis and Buster Davis were the same person.
Cameron Heyward and that big guy from Florida were typical safe picks. I don't know about you, but I can't wait till Cameron honors his dad with a Luffa commercial that crosses into Polamalu's shampoo commercials. Yeah, woo.
I know, I know, pity A.J. Smith and all the other NFL GM's. It must be sooo hard to have success in the NFL draft. What would they ever do if they had to evaluate for the MLB draft obscure amateur players who are years away from the major leagues with limited scouting reports on them?

ps Steelers did a rocking job. Grade A
