Jeffrey Loria and Dave Samson - revealed to have funneled millions in "management fees" to themselves and weaseled Florida taxpayers out of $2.4 billion through the year 2049 for a new stadium, overall scumbags
Frank and Jamie McCourt - used the Dodgers as their personal line of credit for years, collected rent from stadium land that they own, paid a Russian quack to root for the team for more than they are paying Clayton Kershaw, etc. etc., overall misers
Brett Favre - defrauded the Vikings of $16 million; sent photos of his penis in an attempt to seduce Jenn Sterger
Floyd Landis - compulsive liar and rat, amateur computer hacker

The McCourts or E.Gordon Gee (the Ohio State President who essentially called everyone else the poor. This just in, the Big Ten is 0-5 today including a loss to TCU), would be my vote. Cam Newton's father and the T.Ocho Show would get my honorable mentions.

My rankings of the listed options:

1. McCourts: Bad for baseball as a whole, love them or hate them, the Dodgers are a widely recognized franchise everywhere and it's an unnecessary black cloud over the sport.

2. The Marlins Duo: It's pretty much the same as above in its own sad way

3. Landis: He's always had that look of a cocksucker, and he's proven to live up to that "look"

4. Carroll: The scandal doesn't bother me, but jumping ship like that, is indefensible and playing the clueless card is even worse

5. Favre: He's certainly not the first person to send his penis via text. And the Vikings 2010 isn't all on him. He just didn't help but being too thick headed to stop playing.

6. LeBron: Sure, the "Decision" was a misguided fanfare but it was a business move like any other sports. Everyone will just have to get over it eventually. It's been an eventful 2010-2011 season, that's all I care about.

7. Reggie Bush: Yeah, he's not the first to receive benefits, nor is he the last. There really is no big deal other than the fact that USC got caught. He didn't take performance enhancers or cheat to win the Heisman. He just got paid. Or his family got paid.

I'm sure there's mistresses we don't know about. Jenn Sterger could be one for all we know. If in two years, Sterger is on one of the Dr. Drew reality shows on VH1, that'll be our answer. "This season on Sober House.. Jenn Sterger, Brock Lesnar, Michael Keaton, and Antoine Walker!"

I guess how you rank LeBron and Reggie Bush depends on your perspective. If you're a USC or a Cavs fan, each guy's selfishness was devastating to your team. It's no more of a business move than the sports team owners' own shady (but perfectly legal) dealings.

Does the threat of blackmailing the commissioner and the 29 other baseball owners sound like enough of a black cloud to you?

When Frank McCourt bought the Dodgers, he signed an agreement not to sue the commissioner, an agreement required of every incoming owner.

Michael McCann, a professor of sports law at the University of Vermont Law School, said the danger for baseball might be less that McCourt would succeed in a lawsuit than that confidential financial data from all clubs might be revealed along the way.

So maybe Selig does fight Frank's plans. Maybe he does squeeze the McCourts out of baseball. Maybe he is willing to deal with the consequences. Or maybe he's under pressure from the 29 other members of the fraternity to keep the books closed at all costs. Maybe, like others before him, Selig decides that fighting Frank just isn't worth it.
