So the WAC has 3 ranked teams and the Big East has none, but yet Big East will get a team in the BCS by default, and WAC will have none!

Boise State's Fiesta Bowl victory against TCU of the Mountain West Conference didn't make amends for the worst lopsided BCS game I've ever seen. And to think there were nutjobs who thought Hawai'i deserved to go to that year's BCS championship game.
You blame Boise St for that? They can only control who they play. The same nutjobs were the ones who put Boise and TCU in the same game(makes allot sense, typical college football people like Miles Brand who I have no sympathy for after his death).
Yes, Boise had nothing to do with the Georgia/Hawaii beatdown, but Boise's squeaker victory over Oklahoma the year prior spoiled the WAC fans and loaded the bandwagon for Hawaii's BCS bowl bid.

Didn't know that the success of one team in a conference has anything to do with another team's accomplishments in that same division the following year.
Thats like saying since the Giants won the Division and the World Series last year, the Dodgers must be a lock to win the World Series this year if they make the playoffs.
Except there does not exist a playoff system in college football. Instead, bowl games pick and choose the teams they want, following a pecking order.
Exactly, and that whats wrong with college football, imagine if the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL had a "system" based on rankings, computers, and homer voting.
