I was at that game!!!!! What a game, one of the best sporting events I have been to in my life, probably the biggest sporting event in Nevada football history!!!!

Lol I love it when the Hawkeyes lose. Nothing like watching your friends ***** and cry about it on facebook.

Also, I look like a genius predicting Iowa would not win more than 7 games this season. Thank you Minnesota!

Obviously, this was a sore subject for you otherwise you wouldn't have felt the need to call out hypocrisy. Ergo your habit of posting "mock" threads to get back at people who criticize your teams.

I love how USC's AD blasted the NCAA on their decision about Newton, another reason why I'm slowly leaning towards boycotting NCAAF after this season.

The NCAA isn't about to let a pesky pay-for-play scandal hurt their SEC football cash cow.

Projections have Arkansas and Ohio State. Just think, Mallet coulda been facing off against Pryor in the Big Ten if Rich Rod hadn't been the coach.

    Re: 2010 College Football Rumblings

"This season, if a team from the Big Ten or Pac-10 (such as Oregon) plays for the national championship, the Rose Bowl is contractually obligated to take a team from a non-automatic qualifying conference if one is in the top four of the final BCS standings."

If that's the case, why was last year's Sugar Bowl allowed to bypass #4 TCU?

I think they just make up new rules on the fly. Or not. Sugar Bowl last season got the Big East champ and then picked from the non automatic qualifier pool.

Although I am not sure why it's different this season, as it appears the Orange Bowl gets the ACC and Big East champs, so Va Tech and UConn. Fiesta gets the Big 12 Champ, and the Sugar is apparently getting two at larges.

Or, well, I guess Fiesta has it's choice between Stanford and UConn (gee, I wonder how hard that will be for them) and the Orange gets the team that's left over.

    Re: 2010 College Football Rumblings

Only the SEC is tied to the Sugar Bowl, and the Big East isn't tied to a particular BCS Bowl anymore (however, I don't know which year the Big East's contract ended with the Orange Bowl).

I give up, the BCS Bowls probably conspired to put both TCU and Boise in the Fiesta Bowl.

I think Wisconson-TCU will be excellent. If TCU stops their offense, and wins, I think Ohio State's AD can shove a banana up his ass.
