Lorenzen Wright murdered

It's been in the news since Wednesday when police discovered his body in the woods. We now learn that his murder was not random. It seems the killers wanted him badly. He must have been familiar with what these men were capable of or else he wouldn't have tried to make a run for it. That is some terrifying shit.

I'm guessing this had something to do with money, which Lo-Wright owed but failed to pay up.

Maybe. Police records say he was probably carrying a large amount of cash with him on his escape. But thugs will take your loot even if you don't owe them.

Rodney Rogers is paralyzed? Good grief. I do have sketchy memories of watching Sealy, Lo-Wright, Brian Williams, and Rogers when the Clippers were on KCAL-9.

2008 dirt bike accident

On November 28, 2008, Rogers was involved in a dirt bike crash in rural Vance County north of Raleigh. Rogers hit a ditch while riding through a trail and flipped over his vehicle's handlebars.[8][10] He was first flown to Duke University Medical Center, then on December 3 was moved by air ambulance to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The Shepherd Center specializes in rehabilitating people with spinal cord and/or brain injuries.[8] Rodney Rogers is paralyzed from the shoulders down as a result of the accident, and doctors have given him only a 5% chance of ever walking again.[8][11]
