Other Hot Dog Eating Contest 2010

No Kobayashi for today. Yet the over/under on the number consumed by Joey Chestnut is at 68.5 wieners. Not sure why he'd push himself if there's no one there to challenge and motivate him. He could likely eat just 45 or 50 and still walk away the winner easily. Maybe he wants to break the record?

Chestnut only consumed 54 wieners. What a letdown. He mailed it in.

But Kobayashi stormed the stage and got arrested. Awesome.

Re: Hot Dog Eating Contest 2010

So I was just checking out Major League Eating's official website. They have a Records page with all the world records held in the various categories. Here are the records for Chestnut and Kobayashi. Needless to say, Chestnut's resume far outclasses Kobayashi, if we're going by world records. Just overall winning percentage might be a different story (I don't know).

It reminded me of the White Castles. We also have TGIF's Sliders here. Not to be confused with Slyders.
