OJ Mayo will be 19 years old on draft day, but he won't be able to enter the draft because he isn't one year removed out of high school. I bet you he is going to challenge the ruling, and win. David Stern and the NBA wants to legitimitize the NBDL. What better way to do that than by putting the best players in the world in his developmental league? ADIDAS, Nike, and Reebok are salivating at the thought of signing Mayo to a 100+ million dollar life time contract.
I have heard of Mayo and Oden. Is Mayo or Olden the one who said he would go to Ohio State?

That's Greg Oden. He is pretty much Shaq all over again, except smarter & humbler.
Well that makes me a big fan. Sounds like Duncan but bigger.

If you combined the last two drafts, the ones where Bogut & Dwight went #1.. Oden would have gone #1 over both of them. Dude is unreal. And this is coming from a guy who thinks Dwight is a franchise superstar, and Bogut will be an all-star.
Really haven't heard about any of those guys other than Greg Oden. It will be exciting to watch him play some Big 10 basketball. As for the next superstar, it will definitely have to be Oden. This kid is really talented.
How could you not have heard of OJ Mayo? I heard about him a long time before I heard of Oden. Mayo will be easily the most hyped HS player outside of LeBron.
I'm not familiar with top HS players. I didn't even know who Lebron James was out of High School until I started watching and reading about the NBA Draft that year. I've only heard about Oden in articles and on ESPN when he agreed to play for Ohio St. and the new agreement was made in the NBA. He's quite the talented player.
!!O.J. Mayo, the top high school player in the country, signed a letter of intent with USC on Wednesday.
"It's a great day for USC," coach Tim Floyd said. "I think he has the ability to change this program for the long haul. With him coming and the new Galen Center, it's a tremendous time for us." Mayo will play either point guard or shooting guard next season for the Trojans.
Surprised he didn't go with his boy Bill Walker to K-State.
