    NBA NBA playoffs

    Cleveland in 4
    Miami in 6
    Atlanta in 5
    Orlando in 5

    Lakers in 4
    Nuggets in 6
    Suns in 5
    Mavericks in 7

I might watch 1 first round game in its entirety. Possibly 2. Atlanta-Milwaukee is unwatchable and I can't get excited by Miami-Boston either.

All of the compelling matchups are in the West.

Bulls in 4, Oh wait, MJ and Pip aren't there anymore? Okay, then Cleveland in 4.
    Miami in 5
    Atlanta in 5
    Orlando in 6

Lakers in 7 (Durant is sick and will match Kobe. Artest is a younger Dennis Rodman. Odom is flaky. Phil doesn't coach. It will be close)
Nuggets in 7 (Utah is tough, especially at home)
    Suns in 5
    Mavericks in 6

I think if the Bulls win a game in their series against the Cavs, then Paxson storms into Del Negro's office and beats the crap out of him for extending his coaching stay in Chicago. The question with the Thunder is whether anyone besides Durant can step up and make a shot. If so, the series will go longer. No Roy for Portland = no advancing in playoffs. Spurs' window on making the Finals is shut.

A couple other thoughts about the playoffs: 1) I didn't know Milwaukee still had a team. 2) I didn't know Miami had anyone else besides D-Wade. 3) Boston will be dismantled after this season.

Nice thug move by Kevin Garnett to incite a little scuffle. Can we eliminate Boston right now?

And I wonder if Jermaine O'Neal had flashbacks?

KG tossed. Yeah, go whine about it you ****ing ass. It's the Miami Heat, they have one NBA player, yet you're barely hanging on. Being a punk is a great motivator.

    Re: NBA playoffs

I read awhile ago in ESPN Mag that KG routinely picks on scrub players on the other team. I'd like to know how much swagger he'd still have if he was still stuck playing for a crappy Minnesota team.

That said, I don't see Miami winning the series. There's not enough talent there.

Michael Beasley was a great pick by Pat Riley.
