Thread: Trail Blazers hire McMillan

  1. #16
Seattle owner won't put up big bucks to bring a guy like Silas or Saunders to Seattle. They will try to find a "diamond in the rough" assistant coach or hire a not so well known coach like Eric Mussleman to lead their team. I just don't see a big name coach coming to Seattle. Just my .02

Eric Mussleman got a raw deal with the Warriors. He got that young team to compete for the playoffs by midseason in the tough Western Conference. Is Mussleman is a right fit for a veteran Sonics team? Who knows for sure, but it certainly won't hurt Mussleman to be surrounded with better talent.
