That was ridiculous. Awesome performance. I'm starting to think the U.S. can actually win the gold.. Maybe then we can smoke some cigars and drink a little booze on the ice!!
What a goal by Parise! What a game this has been overall! Wow.

Unbelievable game! That last second goal was disgusting. One of the best events I have seen in a while.
Wow, just wow. Heck of a game.
We still callin' him "Sid the Kid"?
See ya's in London.
Obviously somewhat conflicted as a Pens fan and a Team USA fan...
I think the hockey gods took mercy on me though. My cable box, for some reason, on the high-def NBC channel clips over to the next show scheduled when the time hits. IE you paused it for 15 minutes, it hits 8 PM, and boom, the 8 PM show starts playing automatically. Well, we were two minutes or so behind the live feed and it clipped over, past the Crosby goal, and to the players just starting to celebrate.
TV must have known that would have been hard for me to watch.
Oh well. Great game USA hockey shouldn't feel any shame at all. Miller was the man.

Yes but after learning that you were missing the last few minutes of the game, were you even more pissed? Or were you aware of how many hairs you would have lost if you actually got to see it live?
Rumors have Rush playing tonight for the closing.
Slap-a-da bass!!!!!
Overall, this was a very good olympics. Canada set a record for gold medals and the US set a record for total medals. Unfortunately, the olympics had some tragedy associated with them. The death of the luger and the Chilean earthquake sort of dampened the tone. The Canadians winning the thrilling hockey final lifted the spirits a bit, though. Had the US won, the closing ceremonies would not have been quite as jubilant as they are.
Job well done, Vancouver.

A nice job by South Canada at dominating the total medals with the most silvers and bronzes. Well done.
