No Cup race means we get to do something a little different, and that means A Grand National (Nationwide Series race for you youngin's) race at Gateway International in St Louis. There are a couple of guys from the Cup ranks entered in the race, so you should take a look over the entry list, and maybe you'll find someone to pull out a win for ya.

No handicapper this week, all drivers are in play.

On Sunday we have on the the biggest races in short track history. The Oxford 250 winners list reads like a who's who of former NASCAR stars. The race was part of the Cup, Grand National, and NASCAR North schedule for a period of history, but now stands as the highlite of the Maine racing season. There are plenty of cars that will show up, as many as 80 drivers will aim for a win.

Glad to see there is some different choices in the poll. Could benefit some of hurt others. I am hoping that I may even make it down for the race if I can. I'll have to look around and see if I can find some people going down, cause ot's only about 6 hours deep into Maine from here.

Indy goes for the cup guys, but the short track Indy Raceway Park in on the bill for the Nationwide, and Truck racers.

how hard was it to pick the two Sprint Cup ringers? Busch and Edwards were the top 2 guys out of our picks. Busch finished 1st and Edwards finished 3rd.

If you're going to continue with the Nationwide Series, then Sprint Cup guys really shouldn't be eligible IMHO.
