Thumbs Down The Minnesota Timberwolves being stupid again

Minnesota trades Randy Foye and Mike Miller to Washington for the #5 overall pick, Etan Thomas, Oleksiy Pecherov and Darius Songaila.

Wolves gave away a ton here. I like both Foye and Miller. Washington is now a pretty nice team on paper, even though they always seem to fall flat on their faces. Foye was really on the rise last season and he's going to be huge for them once Big Gil gets hurt again.

Foye and Miller were inconsistent in Minnesota. Thomas will help their lack of a front court.

But the other 2 guys suck rather badly. Victory Cigars or White Towels at best.

Idiotic deal. Whoever is pick 5 won't be as good as Roye.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Its been there for about 2 weeks lol.

But seriously the Wolves now have picks 5, 6, 18 and 28. So maybe the class its self sucks but they cant be worse than last years bunch around Al Jefferson can they?

They figure that with 4 picks in the first round, they are going to draft a whole new team.

6 total picks. Lets say for the hell of it they get.

    Rubio
    DeRozan
    Lawson
and 3 other forward/centers with their 28th overall pick and 2 2nd rounders.

Miller is basically a poor mans Brent Barry

Foye scored 16 a game but shot 40 percent from the field and is more a 2 guard than a PG.

What he said. Miller and Foye aren't great, but they're still more useful than the two deadweights and a Ukie they're getting in return. They'll still have to use the 5th or 6th pick on Foye's replacement.

They suck before the deal and suck after the deal. Mission Accomplished.

I've heard they are thinking Steph Curry at #5.

Good thing I don't like basketball.

Re: The Minnesota Timberwolves being stupid again

Curry could potentially better than Miller. But he's a wild card.

And what was wrong with keeping the KG-era uniforms and script logo? Those were the coolest uniforms in the league, but then they changed into gear that the Seattle Seahawks might wear.

I never understood that either. Maybe it was to make a change. I say bring them back.
