If this race doesn't get the rebel flag out, than I don't know what will. This is one of the great tracks, and its sad that this race, "The Southern 500" isn't run on Labour Day, a tradition that is gone, but not forgotten. Will Kyle Busch kepp his hot streak going? Will Carl Edwards gt off the snide, and how long will it take for someone to get the famous Darlington Stripe?

We also get some bonus racing come from the land of Spain. Formula 1 makes it's trek back to Europe, and the Spanish Grand Prix will play host. We're gonna have 4 options to choose from for this race. The top three cars in the constructos standings, and than the rest. If the winning driver comes from the car of your pick, 10 bonus points.

Matt Kenseth is my pick, gotta put some distance between myself and the hungry pack, so I'll take the pole winner, and NNS winner.

Also a reminder, the poll is closes tomorrow night, so make your pick before than. Qualifying for the Formula One race goes Saturday, early morning for those on the east coast, so I'll get the results up for those that havn't made a pick.

Re: Turn 3 Racing Series - Southern 500 & Spanish Grand Prix

Darlington, and Spain results, sorted by drivers finish, with the bonus points on the side...

    KoZ: Tony Stewart
    Prov: Jeff Gordon +10
    DK: Greg Biffle +10 +5
    Foster: Matt Kenseth
    Porter: Denny Hamlin +10
    cj: Kyle Busch +10

And we have a lead change. I still don't believe Brawn is that good, so I went with the RedBull, well everyone else takes the Brawn machine and the 10 points to tighten up the gap, and give Porter the lead in the points. DK gained some valuable points to tighten the gap in the top 4, and Prov is maintaining the leaders in his sights.

Turn 3 Racing Series - Points after Darlington & Spain
    Porter - 155
    Foster - 151
    cjkalt - 148
    DK - 142
    Prov - 106
    KoZ - 79
    Brown - 64

I did better than I thought. I thought 3 of the guys that finished ahead of Gordon were picked so I'd have another top 5/top 10, but not many points to show for it. At least I won't finish last.
