    I am gonna make my pick after qualifying, and it will be someone that has qualified 20th or worse. See if I can do something good with someone coming from the back. Tighten the points race up a bit maybe, keep this interesting.

    Okay, well I'm going with Jimmie Johnson. Dude is in a class by himself at Martinsville. He has won four of the last five races here. His average finish at the track is 5.6. Easy pick.

    Gordon is a good pick as well. He has seven wins here and has finished in the top five in the last eight Martinsville races. I like that pick.

    We (NASCAR fans) all remember the finish between Gordon and Johnson here a year or two ago. It was a "is he really gonna hit him moment?" but sadly there here no chrome horns used.

    Slow start to the season for hom, but he showed last week that he is starting to turn it around. He has done well in the past here as well, being a Virginia boy and all.
