Bulls get Brad Miller, Salmons from Kings

It is being reported the Chicago Bulls traded Drew Gooden, Andres Nocioni, and Cedrick Simmons to Sacramento for Brad Miller and John Salmons.

Bulls to land Salmons, Miller for Nocioni, Gooden

Not a bad trade for the Bulls. It doesn't accomplish any long term goals, but it does make the team better. Brad Miller is an improvement over Aaron Gray and Noah down low, while Salmons will get playing time at SG and SF. Salmons is averaging 18.3 ppg this season with the Kings.

I could average 18 ppg for the Kings when Kevin Martin is hurt..

As a fan of a Legit Eastern Conference contender, this move is just more of an annoyance. Salmons is decent and Miller is better than Noah, of course I'm pretty sure I can shoot better than Noah (Def. from the FT line)

This might get the Bulls into the 5-7 seed contention but I still see them as a First round and out team.

Seriously, why are people still assuming that Brad Miller is relevant?

He's really not that good anymore. 10 ppg on a team like the Kings is pitiful.

And Salmons is just taking advantage of Kevin Martin being hurt.

I'd rather have Nocioni and the cap space after this year.

I don't really thing this trade makes the Bulls THAT much better, if at all..

It was a three way trade. And this made it that much better for the Kings...

The deal also involved a third team. The Bulls agreed to send Michael Ruffin to Portland, and the Trail Blazers would ship Ike Diogu to the Kings, sources told ESPN The Magazine's Chris Broussard.

Michael Ruffin still being in the league in itself is hilarious.

This deal is good for the kings because that's one less veteran bum holding back Thompson and Hawes.
