What will happen on draft day?

The NBA draft is June 28th.

Post your predictions. Who do you want your favorite team to draft?

NBAdraft.net and Yahoo have the Lakers taking Charlie Villanueva with the 10th pick. I'm reading that Villanueva plays a perimeter game and is a weak interior defender and is compared to Lamar Odom. Not sure it would be wise for the Lakers to take another perimeter PF like they did with Brian Cook.

On nbadraft.net, Fran Vazquez's stock has dropped out of top 10 and Chris Taft dropped to the 23rd pick from the 10th.

The Atlanta Hawks will draft Marvin Williams, as long as Andrew Bogut goes number one.

I don't have a team, but I'm interested in where Danny Granger winds up. He was fun to watch.

I hope Orlando drafts Sean May, instead. Sean May at power forward and Dwight Howard at center would be an unbelievable frontcourt. Two big men with great footwork and fundamentals, they would be dangerous. The rumor is the Magic are in love with Deron Williams (who isn't these days?), but I don't think they have the assets to trade up. If they stay put, I hope they don't pass on May.

Well im happy that my Bobcats got two picks(5, 13). Hopefully they can another player as good as Okafor. They need to draft a point guard.

Philly doesn't pick until the 2nd round. 45th overall. Dunno who will drop that far. I wouldn't mind Daniel Ewing, Julius Hodge, or Brandon Bass.

I think the Blazers will reach like they usually do and pick Gerald Green.

Oh, you can also bet that the Clippers will draft the wrong guy.

It's not like they really need anyone, except for a good reserve. Maggette & Simmons on the wing, and Wilcox, Brand, and Kaman on the post. They could use some more depth though, wouldn't hurt. They just need for Livingston to stay healthy, because he is a superstar in the making.

Interesting that I'm looking up Pau Gasol and there are photos of him with a Hawks cap on. If Shareef hadn't passed his physical...

Remember though that it was the Grizzlies who told Atlanta to pick Gasol for them. If the trade wasn't made, we would have picked Battier which would have been a terrible choice. So if anyone, blame it on Pete Babcock for being such a moron. He makes Isiah Thomas look like Jerry West.
