Re: Congrats To The Detroit Lions!!!

I'm just using the same logic you're spewing in this thread?

You're telling me there's no parity just because one of the 32 teams failed to win a game.

Using that logic I can dictate that there's no parity in baseball because one of their franchises suck monkey dick as well.

The Lions at least played some close games.
I would like to see the roster of the 72 Bucs because last time i checked the Bucs didn't exist until 1976.

Anyway, My dad saw the 1976 Bucs in person and he's said that team was worse than the 07 Lions. Even the HC said he was for the execution of his offense.

In this age of parity, the Lions have to be worse right?

No. The Lions just couldn't close out a lot of games that they "should have" won.

Don't get me wrong, they still sucked and their record showed it, but I'd argue that both the 76 Bucs and even the 1990 Patriots were worse squads.

Yeah there were quite a few games that were really close that we shoulda won, but It didnt help that we were blown out a few times too. But those 76 Bucs were really really bad. They averaged less than 9 points a game. They also had a higher pct of 10+ pt loses compared to the Lions. Though they were an expansion, so they get a little excuse for it. The Lions only excuse is Matt Millen and how he is without a doubt the worse GM ever.

ESPN Who's worst ever -- '08 Lions or '76 Bucs?

Sorry but I have to agree with the author here, the Lions were worse.
