No, the date is right. The power's been going on and off for about an hour now, and there's a big thunderstorm coming, so, rather than push it, we'll hold the show off till tomorrow evening. Same time as usual, probably around 7-8 PM.

Well, I'm back after a hiatus stemming from the shame of losing to Statboy's surrogate father, Paradoxx. Tampon jokes, dammit, gotta watch out for tampon jokes.

Hey, I'm batting .333. In other words, I'm the bat I wish Brian Anderson had.

Or not. Dry's been given a red card, he's out.

Replacing him in the game is our very own GoYankees.

General kept talking to me about how there was going to be a lack of intelligence on tonights panel. So he brought me on.

Yah, I'm here to teach a thing or two to you lil school girls.

First up, the Stanley Cup was hoisted by the Carolina Whatever-their-team-name-is yesterday. Did anyone even know/care that hockey was on this year?

Yes, for one, Halladay_is_God the Oiler fan sure cared.

But so did the thousands of fans of the former Hartford Whalers that moved to Carolina. Their situation is like that of the Cleveland Browns fans who watched their owner moved their team elsewhere even when they were selling out the seats. Many are probably bitter that their relocated team has since won a championship.

I have to admit I did know it was on last night, but did I care? No. Did anyone in America care? Maybe the two Hurricane fans in North Carolina (I've checked into it, there's only two), but that's aboot it. Speaking of aboot, how pissed off do you think Edmonton and Canada in general are today?

I don't know if Canada can get pissed, but maybe they're a little angry.

Hockey? NHL? That stupid game that went on strike for a year. Did I mention that was the best sports year of my life. No hockey equals heaven. Now only if NBA were to go on strike and leave. Really, these sports have gotten boring. As much as I tried to sit and watch a hockey game, I can't. Even though I will admit that watching the last few minutes of last nights game was somewhat exciting. I could never sit through a whole game like I could with MLB or NFL. Hockey has gotten pathetic. Just to point out how unpopular it's gotten, I barely heard anything about the Red Wings in the past months around the school. Which is quite unusual. The sport is just becoming unpopular. It's weird though, because I live in a hockey-addicted state. Nobody talks about it around here. Anyways, I really hate hockey, don't care for it. I rather sit and watch 500 laps of nascar than to sit and watch hockey. It's boring. Just another waste of space on television.
