S3FFL Settings and Hash Out Rules Thread.

    12's a lot eh?

For injuries, I drafted DJ Williams who torn a bunch of things. There's bound to be more, they're just prolly on teams of people who haven't paid much attention I guess.

For the league, adjust the scoring obviously. No way should a dude with 6-8 tackles score as much or more than a guy with multiple sacks, an INT, etc.. I would also keep individual defensive players, I've always liked that more than drafting a team defense.

Can we have a flex position instead of a WR/T? I forget what options Yahoo! gives but a RB/WR slot sounds better.

I'm debating eliminating assisted tackles all together.

Yahoo gives a RB/WR Option, and a WR/TE option. I'm definitely keeping the individual defense. I don't want to give too many points to a defender and have them outscoring the offensive players. Trying to keep an even keel so no one stands out like most leagues do.

Edit: I'm not too hot on Sacks, for they are just glorified tackles for losses. So don't expect me to up them too much more than now.

    Your option on DJ Williams.

12 is less than half the available starters per week. A lot of the players that can be kept is on London on offense. I had to let 2 of their 4 QBs go.

10 could also be an option too. What ever is easier for the league on that one. I prefer 12 because you can keep some defensive players. If we go 10 I'm not sure if the same thing will happen.

Will you lay out what the scoring will be before we finalize our lists?

Yes I will. If you have any ideas on how to fix the defense. PM me and ill see how it goes. I'm sure we can hash out how to work the defense. We also would need 5 owners.

Note to League: Im going to be adjusting some scores to get an idea on how to work out the adjustments for 2009. If you log on and you see your record changed. disregard it. Im sending a copy of the original settings to the 7 teams that are currently active to keep me in check.

Re: Strike 3 Forums Football League

Going through the 1st run of changes for next season.

Major Omissions were to Return Yards and Tackle Assists.

Edit: 1st run gave the major edge to QBs and severely crippled the defense. Will have to adjust the QBs and D a little more. (will be changed back after i get it right and posted.)

Re: Strike 3 Forums Football League

    Run 2:

Added points to Tackle Solo from 2 to 3
    Sacks from 1.5 to 2
Pass Def, INT, FUM FORCE, FUM REC from 3 to 5
Upped receptions from .4 to .8
    Dropped Comp down to .15
Upped INT for QB to -3

Made Willis the leagues leading scorer. Have to adjust a little more. This helped the RBs a lot.

The Kicker Points will be adjusted a little more. That im waiting until after the playoffs end. They wont be enough to where you would keep one.

I didn't plan on keeping one, but with the scoring, I don't plan on drafting one.
