    NCAA Browntown's Top 25 - Week 12

    1. Texas Tech (10-0) - Had the week off to get ready for the showdown in Norman. (Last Week: 1)
    2. Alabama (11-0) - Finally beat Mississippi State...they better not overlook the Iron Bowl though. (Last Week: 2)
    3. Florida (9-1) - Playing better than anybody in the country right now, without question. (Last Week: 4)
    4. Texas (10-1) - They played fine this week...Florida's just played better. (Last Week: 3)
    5. Oklahoma (9-1) - Scored 40 points in their bye week. (Last Week: 5)
    6. USC (9-1) - Wasn't always pretty, but they got their revenge on Stanford. (Last Week: 6)
    7. Penn State (10-1) - Another dominant defensive showing against Indiana...beat MSU and they'll be smelling roses. (Last Week: 7)
    8. Boise State (10-0) - Unfortunately for them, their BCS chances are contingent on Utah losing last week. It's hard to see two mid-majors getting in to a BCS bowl. (Last Week: 8)
    9. Utah (11-0) - Their mission is simple...beat BYU at home and go to a BCS bowl. (Last Week: 9)
    10. Ohio State (9-2) - Anyone wanna guess the spread against Michigan? 30 points? (Last Week: 10)
    11. Georgia (9-2) - Survived by the skin of their teeth for a second straight week. (Last Week: 11)
    12. Oklahoma State (9-2) - Kicked field goals of 18, 25, and 21 yards...need to convert better inside the red zone. (Last Week: 12)
    13. Missouri (9-2) - Clinched the Big 12 North, so they'll get their chance to spoil someone's national title hopes. (Last Week: 13)
    14. TCU (9-2) - Had a bye, and I have nothing else to say here. (Last Week: 14)
    15. Michigan State (9-2) - The only way they can make the Rose Bowl is if they beat Penn State (possible) and Michigan beats Ohio State (physically impossible). Good run though. (Last Week: 15)
    16. Ball State (10-0) - A 31-16 win at Miami (Ohio) doesn't really impress me. They'll get a chance to do that at Central Michigan next week in a huge matchup. (Last Week: 17)
    17. Brigham Young (10-1) - Nice win at a tough Air Force team...now it's on to Utah to decide the Mountain West title. (Last Week: 19)
    18. LSU (7-3) - I don't know what's more amazing, the fact that they were trailing 31-3 at home to Troy in the 3rd, or the fact that they won. (Last Week: 18)
    19. Oregon State (7-3) - Very nice win against Cal...they're two wins away from the Rose Bowl. Seriously. (Last Week: 22)
    20. Pittsburgh (7-2) - Not sure if they're better than Cincinnati, but... (Last Week: 23)
    21. Cincinnati (8-2) - ...we'll find out when Pitt visits Cincy next week. (Last Week: 24)
    22. Oregon (8-3) - Lit up the scoreboard against Arizona last week. Now they can rest for the Civil War in two weeks. (Last Week: NR)
    23. Central Michigan (8-2) - They don't win by much, but I have to put them ahead of Western Michigan because of the head-to-head win. They can prove they should stay here if they beat Ball State this week. (Last Week: NR)
    24. Iowa (7-4) - I'm grasping for straws at this point. (Last Week: NR)
    25. Maryland/Florida State/Wake Forest/Boston College/Miami/Georgia Tech/North Carolina/Virginia Tech - I give up. (if I have to pick one...Maryland, who was NR last week)

Dropped Out: (16) North Carolina, (20) Florida State, (21) Arizona, (25) Tulsa

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

    Re: Browntown's Top 25 - Week 12

Honestly, my Internet shut down in the middle of the rankings, but I had ESPN's rankings loaded, and I saw Tulsa there so I just put them in, copied and pasted to Microsoft Word, and then went ahead and posted it when I came back.

    They suck.

    1. Texas Tech (10-0) - I believe...even if no one else does (Last Week: 1)
    2. Alabama (11-0) - Auburn has owned them, can they break the curse? (Last Week: 2)
    3. Florida (9-1) - Playing better than anybody in the country right now besides for TT (Last Week: 3)
    4. Texas (10-1) - They played okay this week...Florida's just played better competition recently and done better. (Last Week: 4)
    5. Oklahoma (9-1) - Gameday will be in town, can they handle the heat this time? (Last Week: 5)
    6. USC (9-1) - Wasn't always pretty, but they got their revenge on Stanford. (Last Week: 6)
    7. Boise State (10-0) - They should get into a BCS Bowl so they can beat an elite team like Oklahoma...wait that already happened? Thats why they deserve a BCS spot. (Last Week: 7)
    8. Utah (11-0) - Their mission is simple...beat BYU at home and go to a BCS bowl. (Last Week: 9)
    9. Ohio State (9-2) - The Way the Big X has gone this year watch them lose to Michigan (Last Week: 10)
    10. Georgia (9-2) - Survived by the skin of their teeth for a second straight week, but I give them respect. (Last Week: 13)
    11. Penn State (10-1) - Will go to the Rose Bowl if they beat MSU (Last Week: 11)
    12. TCU (9-2) - Had a bye, and I dropped them 3 spots... I'm doubting my poll last week (Last Week: 9)
    13. Oklahoma State (9-2) - Kicked field goals of 18, 25, and 21 yards...need to convert better inside the red zone, I'm expecting 1 more loss. (Last Week: 10)
    14. Missouri (9-2) - Clinched the Big 12 North, so they'll get their chance to spoil someone's national title hopes. (Last Week: 14)
    15. Michigan State (9-2) - The only way they can make the Rose Bowl is if they beat Penn State (possible) and Michigan beats Ohio State (physically impossible). Good run though. (Last Week: 15)
    16. Brigham Young (10-1) - Nice win at a tough Air Force team...now it's on to Utah for the Holy War. (Last Week: 16)
    17. Oregon State (7-3) - Keep winning so USC doesn't get the Rose Bowl birth please (Last Week: 21)
    18. Cincinnati (8-2) - They are the class of the BE...so watch them lose now (Last Week: 19)
    19. Pittsburgh (7-2) - Not sure if they're better than Cincinnati, but... (Last Week: 20)
    20. Ball State (10-0) - I think Central Michigan is better but they are undefeated so they stay in front of... (Last Week: 21)
    21. Central Michigan (8-2)- They win, thats all that matters (Last Week: 24)
    22. Oregon (8-3) - Lit up the scoreboard against Arizona last week. Now they can rest for the Civil War in two weeks. (Last Week: NR)
    23. Maryland- The Best of the ACC Mob (NR)
    24. Boston College- 2nd Best of the ACC Mob (NR)

A ranked team that gives up 70 points? Granted, it's pass happy Houston but Marshall handled them even. Epic fail for Tulsa, as Leo would say.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!

    Re: Browntown's Top 25 - Week 12

    1. Texas Tech (10-0) - They are the best team right now.
    2. Alabama (11-0) - Okay so they proved they have it against a team that could win the ACC (Miss St).
    3. Texas (10-1) - They are pretty evenly matched.
    4. Florida (9-1) - Maybe their loss to Ole Miss woke them up.
    5. USC (9-1) - Their defense has only allowed 7 TDs all season. Bad opponents or not.
    6. Oklahoma (9-1) - Defense needs to improve greatly or they won't beat TT.
    7. Utah (11-0) - They are no joke. And the Mountain West is better than they get credit for.
    8. Penn St (10-1) - Iowa matched up vs Penn St. And beat them.
    9. Boise State (10-0) - Nothing new for the Gonzaga of the NCAA Football realm.
    10. Ohio State (9-2) - Imagine if sweater vest started PRYOR at the BEGINNING.
    11. TCU (9-2) - Only losses were to Oklahoma and Utah. Best team since the LT days.
    12. Oklahoma State (9-2) - Texas Tech is just that good. Or are we overrating them?
    13. Missouri (9-2) - They will be hell for Big 12 South winner.
    14. Georgia (9-2) - Talk about overhyped.
    15. BYU (10-1) - They could be the problem for Utah in the Holy War
    16. Oregon State (7-3) - Jacquizz Rodgers is the best kept secret of the Pac-10. Already set the Pac-10 rushing record for a freshman.
    17. Michigan St (9-2) - I think eventually they will be the best of the Big 10 with Ringer.
    18. Ball State (9-0) - Im not sold on the MAC. Even with all the upset wins over Michigan.
    19. LSU (7-3) - Play a complete game, Les. down 31-7 at halftime?
    20. Pittsburgh (7-2) - Best of the Big East? Not if...
    21. Cincinnati (7-2) - has anything to say about it.
    22. Maryland (7-3) - If your team is ranked, DO NOT PLAY THEM.
    23. Oregon (8-3) - Imagine if they didn't have 4347934793 injured QBs
    24. Air Force (8-3) - They lost to BYU but do you honestly believe they cant beat the remaining ACC Teams?
    25. Miami FL (7-3) - I should just pick Houston just because they scored 70 on Tulsa.

I like your example of Boise St, being the Gonzaga of football, except...

One team had tears of joy...

    the other, tears of pain.

Anyone who doesn't have BC on their top 25 should feel disgraced. CJ, for once in his life, is the only logical individual here.

As I said before, I have no faith in the ACC.
