Where will 2012 Sumer Olympics be

We took a huge hit w/ the Stadium fiasco, the Stadium may still get built but they have moved on to another site for the Olympic Stadium. I get the feeling London may win and NY would be the faves in '16 if we get a Stadium.

I'd like to see it somewhere else. America is great but share the wealth. We had it in 96 and 02. Maybe 16 or 18 or 20. I'd like to see Paris/London/Madrid. Any one of those 3.

Really, it's pretty even. I'd still love to see one, if it is ever possible, out of Asia/NA/Europe, but we'll see if Africa or South America (at least one city) can get enough money to fund it while serving their needs. We've only had Olympics in North America, Europe, Asia, or Australia since the Olympiad has come back. I know that Africa and SA aren't exactly financial powerhouses like the three northern continents, but I'm sure that the Olympians in the southern hemisphere would love if they had one in Egypt or Brazil or South Africa.

Good point, it would be cool so see the Olympics in Egypt or Brazil. And you are correct about Europe having 2 since 2002. Somday I wana bring the Olympics to San Diego.

I'd love to see Olympics in Africa, and I think South Africa would be a good spot. Maybe a winter one in Chille, although I'm not sure how things are there now.

I do think Russia deserves one, but I always thought of them as a Winter Olympics spot. Maybe 2014?

I think Moscow would be good either way, although I agree, I see them more as a Winter Location. I think it would be great for Moscow to get the 2014 games and possibly South Africa or even Brazil for 2016.

I think it should be in Madrid....it was a pretty good setting in Barcelona when they had it.

I hope it will be in Europe, then I can persuade my parents to go to the Olympics.
It would be nice to see it in South Africa or South America. It is the world olympics, it is fair let other countries/continents to host it for once.

NY=not happening. Bloomberg/Pataki are making last minute attempts to get it here, but I guarantee it's not coming here. Paris is where it's gonna go.
