No mention of Federer's insane backwards shot between his legs? Put Federer in a skills competition against Alex Ovechkin and I would watch it.

Not only between his legs, but it was a rocket that went for a passing shot. That was a ridiculous shot.

Serena threatened to "kill" her. I love the sport of tennis.

Man. That's embarrassing. Federer choked during those last two sets harder than Shawne Merriman on Tila Tequila.

I'm pumped for Del Potro. We need new blood in tennis.

    I disagree. Long live Federer.

If tennis had the equivalent of an And 1 mixtape, his between the legs shot would be the highlight. Amazing. It wasn't a good match for him tonight, but it's hard to follow up after that shot.

I'm calling it here: Federer is finished. I haven't witnessed such sudden implosion since Rick Ankiel's five wild pitches.

    Re: U.S. Open

I like the fact that he won two majors this year and lost in 5 sets in both of the two other majors. And we're ready to say that he's finished. I'm not sure I'd say that, but I do think that he's not as sharp as he once was. His first serve today was atrocious (40% or so?) and uncharacteristically made too many errors on shots that you don't usually see mistakes from him.
