2008 Pro Bowl

It was a fairly good game. AFC dominated the first half, NFC came out the second half and put it to them. TO had 2 TD's, Houshmanzadeh had 2 TD's, and Adrian "All Day" Peterson had 129 yards (2nd most on PB history) and 2 TD's. He also won MVP, being the first rookie to accomplish that.

Congrats to Peterson and the NFC.

It is kind of a waste. The game has absolutely no meaning, it's played after the season is over, and it's basically a popularity contest.

I watched it today and learned about the Pro Bowl rules, which I thought make it crappier then I once believed: No blitzing (someone got flagged for it), 4-3 defense is the only kind allowed, there's no intentional grounding, tight end might be in on every play, you can't line up 3 receivers on one side. Something about no press coverage or something to that extent, except within the final 5 yards.

They may as well just give the players their free Hawaii vacation and spare us the time.

I forgot it was even on until someone in a chatroom I was in at the time told me that my "charger guy" was doing good on offense.

Must have been Lorenzo Neal, I suppose, since he and 2 offensive linemen were the only ones in on offense today.
