Alright, since basketball season is here I think we should start that board back up...We all know its completely dead but who all here likes basketball and would like to talk about it over there? I would love to try to get things going over there, anyone else feel the same?

I don't think there's as many NBA fans out there on these forums. I've always thought it was easier to have a small sub section on here for basketball, or as there is for hockey and wrasslin, one big on going thread for the sport. Mofo is the only guy who openly squawks about NBA. I love the NBA, much to the disbelief of mofo, but I just don't have much to say on the forums on the subject.

A little off topic, I love basketball but I can't stand the NBA.. There's just not a feel of passion when you watch most games as there is in college. I've considered opening up a College Basketball forum, but wasn't sure I knew too many people that would be interested in one. I keep up with it religiously, especially my home team of Kentucky, which Kentucky basketball in the state is like a religion. Let me know if there are any here that would be interested in such a forum.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett

I have to agree with BoSox34 here. I love basketball, especially college. Every year I try to watch the NBA and just end up taking a nap, literally. I follow it through ESPN, the internet, and the newspaper.

College Basketball is where the action is at for me, LOVE IT!!!
