Isiah Thomas should coach the Knicks

Now that Phil Jackson is basically out of the running as the Knicks coach (like he was actually going to take the gig), Knicks need to hire Isiah Thomas as the coach. Knicks should fire him as the GM and just have him coach the team. He can't be any worse as coach than he was as a GM. He created this mess and now he has to fix the mess by coaching the guys that he selected. There is no coach in his right mind who wants to coach this bunch of losers. It's pretty sad that the Knicks best player which is Selfish Mebury is the big reason why no coach would want to coach the Knicks. They don't want to deal with Selfish's immature personality and lack of game. The only guy who seems to have so much investment towards Mebury is Isiah. Isiah is probably the only guy who can convince Mebury to play the right way hence why Isiah should coach them. I doubt any other coaches like Flip Saunders, P.J. Carlesimo, Maurice Cheeks, or any other coaching candidate can get through with Mebury the way Isiah can.

There are only two guys who can coach the Knicks and that's Phil and Larry Brown. Sadly, those two are never coming. The "B" candidates are not worth anyone's time. Herb Williams did a very lousy job as a coach. I have no idea what the NY media thinking about him as a coach as the beat writers was saying what a "good job he did". He was horrible and the players never respected him especially Selfish Mebury. The other coaches in the league who praised Herb are just being kind more than anything. Herb is not worthy of being an head coach or even an assistant coach. Give him a front office job or something.

The only best coach out there is Isiah Thomas. Knicks should tell him to clean up the cespool because he is the only best candidate out there.

As for the state of the Knicks, they ain't a playoff team next year or the year after that. They are probably going to be a lottery team for years to come so Knicks fans should deal with that reality.

I hear the Knicks are very interested in hiring P.J. Carlesimo. Nice. Knicks are going to hire another loser to that once-proud franchise. P.J. may be a good coach, but he is not a great fit for that team. Stephon is not going to respect him either. The only guy Stephon will play for is Isiah Thomas and that's it hence why Isiah should be coaching not P.J. or Herb Williams.
