    redsrbetter's gambling stories

This will just be a simple segment that I will attempt to update everyone on in how my gambling life is going. Am I a pro? Heck no. But this will tell you where I sit as the great days and torturous ones unfold.

Staring this thread won't be easy as I did a no-no today in which I wouldn't reccomend anyone do. I put the rest of my weekly money on one game today. If I lose, I won't have a dime for spending money again until Wednesday.

So here it is: Rice over E Carolina.

E carolina is favored by -150 on the money line. The spread is at 2.5 points given to Rice.

I layed down $180 on Rice. Let's see what happens...

NOTE: Please do not take on my picks as guarantees if you are a gambler. I am not a pro handicapper whatsoever.

Maybe it's just me, but I would know that I have a gambling problem when I start placing triple digit bets on no-name college football teams. Hope Rice pulls out a win for ya.

    Hahaha!

Rice on the 22 yard line 0:07 seconds left. Score 17-15 E Carolina lead. Field Goal! Rice takes its first lead of the game and leave E Carolina 0:03 seconds leftin the final quarter.

Kick off, no return, ball game!

    I win $227.70

Got a 2 game parlay out for tomorrow.

Broncos and Steelers are the plays.

    placed $220 on the parlay.

I also have a $5 12-team parlay played. Long shot, but had to take the stab at winning $2600.

    1 game down.

Pittsburgh pull a Rice on me and wins it at the end. Had me sweating the whole game, but they get the TD on a near sack shovel pass from Big Ben and a 5 yard TD!

Then Cleveland makes it real interesting at the end with a :30 second drive and were literally centimetersfrom ruining the game for me. Ball was being bobbled in the back of the endzone and the Cleveland WR was extremely close to coming down with it.

Another close win and I am 1 game away from winning the day.

My 12-game parlay? I lost. But it was worth the try for only $5.

    LETS GO BRONCOS!

    Net Profit: + $222.70

Tough loss on the 2-team parlay brings me back to square one.

Broncos were up by 17 points in the game and San Diego came back once again from a huge defecit. All I can say is Ladanian Tomlinson = God and Jake Plummer = worst QB in the NFL. I absolutely despise him in pressure situations.

No more excuses. Time to press on.

Dude the Chargers are very good at covering the spread.

Broncos suck (cheap shotting dikheads). I'm a huge Chargers fan so my opinion is a little biased but check their history over the last couple years (as far as the spread goes).

I quit gambling about six weeks ago after getting my ass handed to me in both bets and fantasy. That and back in Jan I put $50 down on the A's to win the American League. I would have won $600.

If you're interested we have an insane weekly betting thread on my Chargers board.

    Good luck bro.

Sounds good man, I will try and check it out.

In the meantime, I chose the over 39 in tonight's football game. Not looking good so far. I will be sure to update how it turned out. But I dropped $100 on this one.

You dropped $100 on the over in a game quarterbacked by Elisha Manning and David Garrard? Oh my god...

Ouch. Maybe if Eli weren't such a ridiculously overrated QB, you could have gotten the backdoor cover. Tough loss here.
