Really? Oh man, I can't say I feel sorry for the dude because it is likely what he wants. But I hate to think someone hates their life this much. This guy has so much passion toward life that he can't except the fact that everyone is human and he is apart of everyone. No one life is greater than the next.
He embraces his own life and puts it on a pedestal.
According to ESPN, T.O. had an allergic reaction to the pain killers he was given for his broken finger.

T.O. needs help. If you try to kill yourself by taking some pills, then you don't really want to kill yourself. People who want to kill themselves do so by shooting a bullet into their head, by jumping off a cliff (or bridge), or by the ol' lynching. This is no suicide attempt, it's probably a huge ****up.
If I had to guess, I would say that based on his flamboyant personality and this report, that he might be bipolar.

I look at it this way.
He hadn't been in the headlines for almost a week. He was just a little bored not seeing his own name in print or on the TV. Parcells wasn't playing the game right. When people try to off themselves and fail, it usually means they just want help and attention. People who really want to do it right jump out of a window or eat a bullet. People who eat time released drugs and then make a phone call aren't really serious about the dirty deed.
Right, the man would risk killing himself with drugs just so he can once again make headline news.

he didn't OD on meds... though, it is pretty interesting that it was reported that a friend had to pry 2 pills out of TOs mouth.
I agree that the media should have waited on this story.. till around saturday, so that by then the team can make a statement, then the media does its thing and try to make a story out of what happened.
