Circular logic aside, Mr Mims, you have yet to provide a single credible reason why you are, in fact, hot.

Even though they probably would've gotten it in on the next play anyways Heath Miller was out of bounds before he got the ball in on that play where Saban botched the tossing of the red flag.

Daunte Culpepper didn't look so good. Kinda looked like the Culpepper that threw 5 picks against the Bengals last season.

Let's see what the Steelers can do against a reputable offense...

The Steelers are okay but Miami sucks anyway.

"OUR" Steelers, lol. Very happy to see another Steelers fan on S3F, it's bad enough having to listen to the "Who Dey" ranting lol.

And to redsfan28 above, we handled your offense well in our first meeting last season with Palmer playing for a full game. So don't sell them short, Palmer will have to be the one to beat us, because I can guarantee you that Rudi Johnson won't rush for over 100 yards against us. That of course thanks to our massive rush defense.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett

Oh yeah, it was Palmer that put up a beautiful 60+ yard pass that beat your vaunted defense in the playoff game before Kimo von CheapShot took out Palmer's knee. I guess Bill Coward will resort to anything in order to win.

all debates on whether or not that hit was intentional aside, the entire face of the 2005 NFL playoffs could've been completely different had Palmer not been injured and taken out of that game.

    Exactly.

And this season, the Bengals have the best offense in the NFL, period!

Nobody ever said for sure that the Steelers would have won had Palmer not gotten injured. I was talking about our first regular season game of last year. And that wasn't an intentional "cheap shot" and IF it was, Cowher had nothing to do with it. But I like that, tell yourself whatever it is that helps you sleep better at night. The Bengals are a very good team, Im not discrediting them, but your over zealousness for them apparently blinds you to how good the Steelers are. You make them sound like they haven't proven themselves, and maybe they haven't yet this season. But keep in mind regardless of how the first game went down with Palmer's injury, we still went on to win the Super Bowl, and no comment you make can take that away from us, and for you to even try to do that, well... would be ignorent.

The Steeler defense is good, don't get me wrong about that. I just want to see how they would do against an actual offense (not saying the Bengals' per se)

The Steeler offense WILL MISS Bettis, because Willie Parker isn't half (not weight wise, I mean talent wise) the RB that Bettis was. I also don't think Roethlisberger can stay healthy for a full season. While Charlie Batch had a good game last night, I wouldn't count on him repeating that type of performance every time he plays.

You all won the Super Bowl (with the help of the refs), but this is a different year.
