Welp another day and it adds another reason for me to want to stone Dan O'Brien, Carl Lindner, and John Allen (Reds COO i think). There were teams out there that we had a perfect fit of pieces for trades and we could have gotten something out of our vets, but we decide to stare off into space....

We could have traded disgruntled crybaby i mean infielder Rich Aurilia to Minnesota.

There were a number of teams looking for a fix in the pen, we could have traded 35+ yr olds David Weathers and Kent Mercker for better, younger spects from any team from coast to coast in contention with the exception being maybe Oakland.

We had an oppertunity to remove at least one albatross of a contract from around the franchise neck and passed. That money could have been given to the Human Cannon Adam Dunn for a nice Long Term Contract and also put all three of the young OFs into the same outfield and thinning out the log jam.

Semi Disappointed Day... only saving grace is the Reds won.

Man that was a great distraction adn a good ruling from Statboy , just really wanted to send out my prayers to the people who are in a nightmare that will not be going away soon in the South.

If anyone ever wants a good book to read might I recommend buying Michael Shaara's book titled Fallen Angels, if you didnt know better you would think you were actually watching both sides from within the respected camps.
