Not when you consider that Serena only has 10 majors and the women's record is 24.

The point is that women's majors aren't valued as highly because they're easier to win.

If you've been following, he's totally not my "boy". I like Marat Safin.
And the facts are facts: women only play best 2 of 3 sets and the depths of the fields aren't nearly as deep. **** women.

Id rather be arguing like Kornheiser and Wilbon.

10 Majors is 10 majors though. Only 8 women have won 10 or more majors.

Two more than the number of men. So really how much tougher is it.

It's not about how many of them have 10+ majors, but how many majors those select few have between them. By winning so often, they prevent others from winning. But that doesn't mean that winning them is harder, because it's not; it's still much more difficult to dominate the men's side.

This is Serena's 1st back to back major title since her Serena slam in 2002-2003.

    Update:

    Tiger 14
    Federer 14

And with Nadal probably not playing the upcoming Wimbledon because of a bum knee, there's a good chance Federer takes his 15th there. We'll see what Tiger does at the US Open in a couple of weeks.

Federer over Haas in straight sets, and Roddick/Murray is in the 3rd set right now, quite a nice battle actually.

#15 is in the books. The second-set tiebreaker was a super epic fail of epic proportions for A-Rod. Up 6-2 in the tiebreak and he blows four consecutive set points, including a backhand volley into an open court that he missed by at least 12 feet wide. A decent match overall though, fantastic 5th set as well with both guys holding serve until the bitter end.
