They signed the GM of Bargnani's Italian League championship winning team to be an assistant.

They were big on Bargnani before they signed him, anyway. He's a great outsider shooter, he's got a good inside game, he's big, nice size, there's nothing not to like about him for a team in desperate need of some talent to surround Bosh and Villenueva. The only knock on him is that he's a big man, and they already have two good ones, but they could go with three seven footers in the front court and pretty much negate that as a problem.

the raptors aquired Centre Rasho Nesterovic from the Spurs a week ago (although nothing special about him), so they have 3 big men in front now. So I don't think they are after a centre right now, only position is hurting the raptors is PG, and they need a pass first type, I don't think Adam Morrision is right for the team, so the Raptors are moving down the draft. If the Raptors didn't aquire Rasho Nesterovic, I would have loved to see LaMarcus Aldridge with Bosh and Villenueva.

In Bryan Colangelo I trust. The man has already got rid of Rafael Araujo, so he already won me over.

Colangelo is a very good GM but he must have had a wild Friday night because he had to be drunk when he agreed to take the stiff Rasho and the $23.5 million left on his contract. Plus, he gave up a decent role player in Matt Bonner.
