Colangelo is a very good GM but he must have had a wild Friday night because he had to be drunk when he agreed to take the stiff Rasho and the $23.5 million left on his contract. Plus, he gave up a decent role player in Matt Bonner.

Raptors have a lot of cap space opening up, losing Bonner is no big deal all he was a fan favourite with his red hair, he's easily replaceable, and Eric Williams was useless.

Nesterovic plays the 5, so Bosh can return to the 4 and Villenueva (or even Bargnani if he gets drafted) can play the 3, it will give the Raptors a better chance at winning and hopefully improve their rebounds, it killed the team last season (last in the league for rebounds I think)

Also the Raptors lack a PG who can see lanes and pass, they don't need a shooter there like Mike James from last season, and I believe Morrison is a shooter type, so he isn't an option.

TORONTO (CP) - Toronto Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo says he will keep the top pick in the NBA draft, and that he's narrowed his choice down to two players.

Speculation is Colangelo will go with either Italian forward Andrea Bargnani or LaMarcus Aldridge out of the University of Texas with the No. 1 pick.
