Thread: The Officiak NFL Draft Thread

    SD takes Merriman at 12.

I expected for SD to go with defense here. There is really no offensive players tht could've helped them at that 12th pick.

Up next is Houston. They could take any number of people. But don't be surprised if they take a OL here like a Barron.

Texan Fans would love to see Derrick Johnson taken. But I still think they may go with OL here. Texans could really use another decent OL to help protect DD and Carr.

With the 13th pick of the draft the Houston Texans trade with the Saint 1st, and 3rd

    Wow. First trade.

Texans get 16th pick and 3rd pick in 2006.

    Saints get 13th pick.

Interesting. Saints take Derrick Johnson here?

    Saints take Jammal Brown OT/Oklahoma

I guess Texans were playing the game of taking an OL, Saints got worried and traded up.

Hmmm.....Nice pick. He looks like a decent OL.

Actually, kinda surprising. I was just looking around and was hearing Carolina was probably going to go offense with this pick. But overall nice pick by Carolina with Thomas Davis.

I expect KC to go with Rodgers or Defense here.

Dallas' defense just got a heck of a lot stronger. If they land Pool at #42...ooooooo man will this be good

I'm not sure if I would take Aaron Rodgers here. Probably not but definetly think about it.

I would be estatic as a GB fan right now. They get a good young QB who can wait there and learn from Favre.

Good draft. I'm excited to see what Washington does with this pick.

As a bucs fan, I'm not all that happy with the pick. We took the 3rd best RB instead of the 1(b) WR, but I know RB was a need and hopefully he won't be a bust.

That dude going to the bears has bust written all over him. Doesn't seem that mentally sharp if he can barely handle an interview about something he knew was going to happen for a few months.

Cedric Benson is his name. Him shedding tears and resembling Ricky Williams was hard for him to take on. He cut off those ugly looking dreadlocks.
