I'm taking the Heat. The Marlins as it stands now are Dontrelle Willis, Miguel Cabrera, and 23 players that only the most hardcore baseball fans would know about. 2-6 is a .250 winning percentage, and that's about the best they're going to get. That projects to 41 wins, which is already less than the Heat have. If you want to give me playoff wins as well, I'll guarantee the Heat will have more wins than the Marlins, because the Heat will have a chance at 60, and the Marlins won't.

How do you give Dam 4 points for saying exactly what I said. You knew the scores, and I was robbed, god damnit robbed. On a more personal note, Congrats to Matt Smith on his debut, he's our best pitcher as of now.

Barry Bonds is reportedly facing a charge of perjury in court. If he is found guilty and sent to jail, should he still go to the HOF? Slyder?

Why must we always talk about Bonds?

Anyways... If CONVICTED or proven he did indeed use steroids then no he should be lined up right beside Raffy as poster boys of the crack down of baseball on the Roids. Hes brought this upon himself and has no one else to blame but his own pompous arse, although I figure ESPN will try and spin it to keep people watching.

Yes he should be banned. Shoeless Joe is not in the HOF for a "crime" that he was acquitted of, and Pete Rose isn't in as a player for something that he did as a manager. Why should Bonds get special treatment? He cheated as a player, but he should be allowed a spot in the HOF? Not before Joe Jackson and Pete Rose get in.

Favorite Utility Infielder.... Rich Aurilia ....
Okay seriously now. He plays in the OF a lot too but Ryan Freel is my favorite utility player.

Freel steals bases, draws walks, has great patience with the bat, plays all out all the time. He is the table setters of all table setters. OBP above .372 last year, obp this year of .586. He just finds ways to get on base and cause chaos. Every time hes on base you are bound to see something HUGE happening.

Tony Graffanino. He's a great guy, and he was an extremely productive bench player when he first came up with the White Sox. His Game 2 error in the 2005 ALDS for the Red Sox sealed the deal for me. Even as an opponent, he couldn't stop himself from helping the White Sox.
