Philly stole Winston Justice in the 2nd round. Good Pick.

Ah. Wow. I'm definitely not reading all these pages, but hey, i'll provide my general thoughts. I did go back a few pages, but stopped when I started seeing (no offense anybody) stupidity. Texans as of right now are having a great draft. They upgraded their defense in the first two picks. Ryans had a good combine and could've supposedly gone as high as mid 1st round, but fell. Texans got a steal w/ the first pick in 2nd round. If you disagree, oh well. We could argue all day, won't matter until Ryans gets out on the field and shows you wrong. We just took a raw OL in Spencer out of Pitts. who is coachable, and will be turned into a great OL by Sherman, Kubiak, and company. Great pick. We then stole Eric Winston. Well, some of you may say, "Winston fell for a reason." He fell to the third round because of his struggles of trying to return from that injury from 04. Analysts actually had him going as high as the first round. 3rd round, low risk high reward pick. Really, nice job Texans. Couldn't of done any better myself other than trading down and trying to get more first day picks, but job well done. Look for the Texans to go after some CB help tommorow, and a 3rd WR possibly. Maybe a Maurice Stovall from Notre Dame early in the 4th if he lasts that long.
As for the Pats. I'm not a huge fan of Maroney. Watched him in the Michigan game. Tore us up, but our defense wasn't the greatest. I still say that D. Williams or even L. White would've been the better pick. But I have trust in Belicheck. As for Chad Jackson, loved the pick. Great replacement for Givens. Pats 3rd round picks are still to come.
My player that would be a steal right now would be Gabe Watson. Been questioned for his work ethic, blah blah blah. I don't buy into him having a weak worth ethic or anything. All around good guy. He was projected as high as a late 1st rounder. Saw him going to Cincy in the 1st round in many mock drafts.
My pick as to who has had the best draft. Jets of course. Two great OL and a good QB who could be a great pro in a couple years. Jets have done great.
Just my 2 cents.
The fact that they didnt address their franchise long problem at OL in the 1st 2 picks. They needed a OL. Didnt get it. I can justify the Mario Williams selection if you trade down from there and pick up a pick. But not getting Justice with pick 33 was a travesty. OL was a bigger need than OLB.

Pats only have one third rounder I believe, and it's up now. They traded up to get Jackson, and one of the third rounders went away.

The Texans finally take OLs with Spencer and Winston. But i still think they made a huge error in not taking Justice.

Yeah, I was hating badly on Houston's draft until they drafted those 2 OL's back to back. They ended up doing pretty good, all in all. Mario Williams is a stud, but I still think they'll regret passing on Bush when alls said and done.
Looking at who else was left. I think i could eat crow when its over. But the Texans did make out well despite it not being "normal"
