Shocked Survey Says: Part 2B, The Powder Keg (Goes Boom)

And now for the most difficult GMs to trade with, as voted on by you the General Managers. To the results, Robin:

    Most difficult, singular voted crowd

Quick tangent. What makes another person difficult to trade with? Perhaps I should have listed that in my survey. But then again, based on the responses, you all mostly took care of that for me. Often cited responses included lack or slowness in communication, overvaluing their own players, and/or constantly increasing or complicating a deal. And now you wonder why we don't do 3 team or 4 team deals. So with the singular responses, here are GMs that obtained a solitary vote: Kingdom, Zodious, Phillyfan, Machiavelli, and Providence A's. You're going to notice a trend, there are some GMs that received a vote for being both the most difficult and the easiest. Who knew?

Most difficult, multiple votes but never the winner

I will start with the non-specific response, worded a little different each time but it was the same purpose in the end. The statement "everyone" received 4 votes. The reasons varied. Some were because the individual didn't like trading. And some reasons were because trade council makes it difficult to trade. Altogether, "everyone" checked in second place. But third place? That distinction goes to Slyder. Other multiple vote getters included Prez Wilco and HafDawg.

    Most difficult, of them all

Probably not the greatest distinction to have, but there had to be a winner, right? Overall, we had 9 different GMs voted for and one non-specific voted entity. We had 11 individuals voted for easiest. I'll leave it to you all to determine who didn't garner a vote for either. There was some diversity. When it came to determine the most difficult GM to trade with, it was quickly not a contest as the person hauled in 7/17 votes. The most difficult GM to trade with, as decided by the General Managers of BaseballSlant, is CJKalt.

ease of completing a trade isn't the same thing as understanding a GM's trade strategy, if that's what you're getting at.

No, it's an "I have no freaking idea what I want and let me meander around a few PMs and maybe something gets done" thought process.

. I'm being nice here. Being reasonable is the bright line. When demands are unreasonable, it leaves your potential trade partners with nowhere to go but somewherelse. Knowing player value is critical.

I average 2.5 sim trades per year so my evaluations cant be that crazy... You and I just have never seen eye to eye on player values, u feel like I'm asking for too much and I feel every offer u make us absurdly low
