Thumbs Up Survey Says: Part 2A, The Powder Keg (Is Lit)

We've now entered the possible MTV Reality Show segment of our adventure. Again, responses are anonymous. If you're bothered by seeing your name, be a man (or woman) and keep it classy. I feel as though this can serve as a way to help everyone evolve in their abilities, learn from their mistakes, and become better as GMs. Or, pineapples.

Let's start with the easiest side of things.

    Easiest, singular vote crowd:

I knew going in there would be some potential drama with this question. And that's okay. Water cooler talk, right? Quick side note on this answer: There were a few responses for GMs no longer in our sim leagues, there were responses indicating no answer because they do not trade or because they are still new and feeling their way around. As for specific, still current GMs? Slyder, Prez Wilco, HollywoodLeo, and Phillyfan all received a vote. My personal choice for this answer? I went with Hammer, because it's rare for trade talks to go past 2-3 private messages.

Easiest, multiple votes but not the winner crowd:

Most people responded with multiple answers for this question, so yeah, I counted that. Who checked in with the 2nd most responses? Mr. Porter. A long standing veteran of every sim league around, he's been involved with many, many, many trade partners. You might call him a tad bit of a trade slut. Other vote getters with multiple votes include: Mntwinsfan, Machiavelli, Trendy Bastard, and Molina. I would imagine the voters for Molina are about the only ones that can remember him ever trading. The rest of us are just children in comparison.

    Easiest, and your winner is:

Porter might be the slut, but apparently I'm the Whore of them all. I walked away with 7 of the 17 responders votes. So, as not to bore you all with an acceptance speech, I am simply going to go off of what a specific response stated as to why they voted me for easiest. This person says I am very clear as to what I am wanting. And I must say, I try. Sometimes it's hard to do that whenever someone engages in trade discussion and seemingly expects you to read their mind. I can never work that way. My opinion when it comes to the best way of trading is how I view my personal choice vote, Hammer, when we trade. He's almost always specific in what he wants, and if I have that, I will offer it out for something he has available. It's that simple. If it's not desirable, there's a counter, and we go from there. Do we always complete deals? No, but just as quickly as we complete a deal, do we figure out there is not a deal to be made. In my opinion, trading never has to be brain surgery. It just has to be assembling Legos.
