1. I feel like I've asked this or in some related context, last time you were on.. at least it feels like I have: On the subject of Adam Dunn, so back when I called it that your massive contract you gave to him was a huge mistake and rather humorous in hindsight, what was worse that season of SBSL for you- the Dunn contract, spending all of that money in the offseason to turn your team around only to not succeed as much as you intended, OR for everything you did that offseason only to lose to ME in the division and watch me win it all. (hehe)

I'd have to say the latter.

Any other division and VC would have been in the playoffs, even despite Dunn being a *****.

2. Honest opinion of these people as sim league GMs:
Porter99
Providence A's
Kingdom_of_Zito
cjkalt
realmofotalk (you knew I had to list him)

To be quite honest, unless I'm in trade talks with them, I really don't pay too much attention to what other GMs are doing and how much they are succeeding, so you can take my opinion on this with a grain of salt.

That being said,

Porter: Always seems to be in the thick of the race but never gets over the hump.

Prov: Dominated his own league and is almost always in the playoffs in TPSL. I'd say he's one of the best GMs here.

KoZ: Your multiple championships in every league speak for themselves.

cjkalt: Probably the most active trader in the leagues.

Mofo: Other than stockpiling 1st basemen in TSSL, I don't really know much about his OOTP skillz.

3. Edit: charger questions are lame. Chevelle questions instead: Rank the four albums they have released in order from best to worst and what makes the best.. the best, and the worst.. the worst.

1, 2, and 3 are very close to each other and probably interchangeable. I almost put Wonder What's Next at #1, but then I remembered Emotional Drought is my favorite Chevelle song.

Point #1 is good, but doesn't seem to be quite as high quality as the next three. I don't know if they were on a lower budget or something when they made that album, but some of the songs sound like they were recorded in their home garage or something.

That's not to say they aren't good, I like Anticipation, Point #1, and Prove To You mainly, but they're not up there with their next 3 in my opinion.

Do Charger fans still ***** about Eli Manning?

To a degree.

If you ask a Chargers fan for an opinion he probably won't hold back and you're bound to find a colorful post or two in response to a thread on Eli if he's been in the news as of late, but I don't really see the topic just coming up out of nowhere like it did shortly after all of the shenanigans.

Personally, I'm glad Eli was a whiney ***** that didn't want to play in San Diego. The Chargers got Rivers, Merriman, and Kaeding out of the deal.

1. What excites you..for the future of the San Diego..Padres? Is it not knowing who might get traded and when and FOR WHO???? Or maybe..someone.. in the farm? Or the impending comeback..3 years from now... for Matt Bush..on a division rival? OH MY GOD

I'm interested to see how Kyle Blanks and Mat Latos blossom and if they get anything good in trades of Jake and Adrian. (I'd rather not trade Adrian, though)

Generally speaking, though, not much to be excited about.

2. I am posting these questions..for you Leonardo...therefore..it does make me real. But my point is, not that, but rather.. another question. I've been watching those VH1 debates.. and it find it amusing on some of the topics.. they debate. So make an argument for and against this: Which 80's and 90's commercial had more of an impact to your...self conscience, the.. THIS IS YOUR BRAIN AND THIS IS YOUR BRAIN ON DRUGS (ONE WITH THE EGG AND THE FRYING PAN, CUE SIZZLING NOISE) OR THE ONE WHERE PEOPLE LITTER, OUT WALKS AN INDIAN, AND HE SHEDS A TEAR (EVEN THOUGH THE INDIAN LOOKS LIKE SOME ITALIAN GUY). OKAY, GO LEO!

I'd say the brain egg commercial. They played it 100x more and the message is simple but strong.

I remember making cracks (no pun intended) at the commercial all the time as a kid.

3. With all of the attention.. that Michael Jackson's untimely passing received, where does it rank in your.. top 5 celebrity/famous people death news coverage rankings? What would be.. the top 5?

Eddie Guerrero was another, but neither him nor Pillman caused the ruckus that Owen and Benoit's deaths did.

Pillman was a little different since there were no drugs involved. It was just a medical condition that no one knew about. Don't think that would have brought forth a lot of attention.

Munster's last because I've never heard of or tried it.

2) What time do you feel is it acceptable/respectful to wait until to mow the lawn in the morning so you don't wake up your neighbors (hypothetically speaking if you don't actually mow the lawn)?

10 AM seems reasonable enough for me. Unless the neighbors work a graveyard shift you shouldn't expect them to sleep in that much.

I'd say 9am if you live in a hot climate and it'd start getting too hot at 10am.

3) Who was your favorite pro wrestler growing up and why?

As a young child, Hulk Hogan because I was a kid and got into the Hulkamania hype.

As I grew a little older and after Hogan went on to WCW my favorite wrestler was Owen Hart. Owen because everyone liked Brett and hated Owen.

Then Owen suffers the accident and suddenly everyone was an Owen Hart fan.

Sounds just as good as I'd expect out of them.

That and "This Circus" leads me to know that I won't be disappointed when the whole album comes out 9/1.

2. Your thoughts on if a salary cap would work in MLB. What style do you use, something from the NFL, NBA, NHL, or a combo of the best parts of all of them.

I've always been a huge proponent of a salary cap in Major League Baseball. It's ridiculous how free agency is essentially a bidding war between 4-6 teams in this sport every year, save the occasional smaller market wanting to make a splash on one guy.

I don't know anything about the NHL's salary system, I'd be happy with a mirror of the NFL or the NBA.

3. What movie coming out in the near future (before the end of August) has you most excited.

I had every GI Joe toy known to man when I was a kid.

1) In light of Shaq's new show, if you were Shaq and had a ton of money and could basically do anything you wanted, and had an amazing sense of humor, what would you do?

Not sure how to answer this question, really.

What would I do with that much money? Nothing extravagant really.

I mean, I'd move to San Diego, get a new big house (nothing humongous but not your standard 2-3 bedroom either), a new car or two and live it up, but I probably wouldn't be doing any publicity stunts or anything.

If I was Shaq and wanted to do something public, who knows? I may come back and edit this post at a later date if I think of something.

2) What's your take on Brett Favre announcing he's going to make an announcement in a few weeks?

I have a much less critical viewpoint on Favre than most.

While I comprehend the frustration from fans while following his antics, I just can't personally hate the guy.

Most players in professional sports are $$$ first, everything else last, and fans always scoff at that.

Then, here we have a guy who was offered 20 million dollars to retire and takes much less so he can keep playing.

The indecisiveness is pretty annoying at face value, but I just can't hate the guy for it because I'm sure it's an internal conflict with him where he wants to keep playing but he probably can't due to his body wearing down with age.

My neighbors pay this lawn care company and they come before 8 AM! I swear, I need to check to see if there is a city ordinance or something. Regardless, it's rude IMHO to mow the lawn that early...especially Saturday morning.
