    2. Doing over the year you guys mistakingly thought Richard Sexson and Adrian Beltre were great and signed both to massive deals, who do you try signing instead that year (realistically)? Do you want the mariners to jump in the potential Yu Darvish derby? AND LASTLY AND MOST NOT RELATED TO ANYTHING ELSE IN THIS BIG OLE QUESTION, who's the hottest Asian alive? I personally find them pretty attractive, except for Bai Ling. She's just weird. -end rant-

    3. Someone made a poll asking what was more embarrassing, Carlos Delgado splooging all over the yankees or the mets in the very same day getting shutdown by Sidney Ponson and Kei Igawa. I ask, what's more embarrassing, the yankees getting so desperate they had to sign Ponson and call Igawa back up, the mets still relying somewhat on Carlos Delgado, or the fact that those teams add up to 600 kajillion in salary yet don't really look like they need to be with in 10 feet of the postseason?
    1. My kid probably wouldn't be in S3SL in 11 years, she would be 13. If she ever does, she would be a pretty damn good GM. Im not ready to suffer in TSSL again. I just want to make the playoffs in the AL, which you think after 11 straight winning season's they would have more to show for it. The worst deal I've ever done with you? Our deals have been pretty even throughout the years. So there isn't one that really stands out. Up until this season I was ready to shoot Jeff Francis though.

    2. Don't group me into that group on them being great. I still would have wanted Beltre but not at his price. But I felt we needed a better high contact guy with 20-25 HR pop and 20-25 SB capability. I vaguely remember which starters were available during that year, but one would have been REALLY nice right now. I fully expect the M's to go after Yu Darvish and I fully endorse that they do. I could cop out on this last question and say my daughter, Kate (yes, I'm part Chinese). I'll stick to Kelly Hu for right now. I still have that soft spot for Asians.

    3. I think the fact taht the Yankees have Ponson AND Igawa up right now shows the sorry state of the decimated Yanks rotation is pretty damn embarassing. But they don't light a candle to Carlos Silva, who is going for his 13th straight loss to day vs Duchscherer.

    1. My worst 3 moments as a M's fan?
2001 ALCS- Soriano smashing that homerun off Sasaki, leading to the impending doom of the M's in their best season ever.
1995 ALCS- When Lofton scored from 2nd on a passed ball and made Randy Johnson look human for the 1st time this season.
Watching Ken Griffey Jr. leave for Cincinnati

    2. My best 3 moments as a M's fan
1995 LDS- You know the play. I don't need to explain it any more. Edgar, Jr, Cora Crying after the double.
2007 Opening Day- Watching King Felix strike out 11 in his 1st of many starts.
2006- King Felix's 1st ML start in person.

    3. Can I watch Dark Night right now? This is the movie I've waited on all year for. There isn't really anything else for this year that jumps out. Im waiting for the eventual Ultimate Avenger's movie in 2009 or 2010. Hopefully they can keep Norton as Hulk, Downey Jr as Iron Man, etc. etc.

    1. Other than a one day contract, I give this a 5% chance this happens.
    2. Yes I think the M's will make the playoffs in about 3-4 years.
    3. He better be our starting catcher, I doubt Joh will stay at catcher for the duration of his contract. He played some 1B in Japan, they have LaHair in Tacoma thats about a year or two away. I see them using him as a stopgap until a 1B in the system is ready to go.

    3. Soccer fan? If you are you gonna go to the Seattle Sounders FC when they start playing?
    1. I haven't been to Fort Columbia in over 7 years, but I did like the time when I was down there. The southwest part of our state is very scenic and beautiful to drive around and cruise.

    2. I do have a daughter. My favorite kids quote right now is when they say things you don't expect.

    3. I'm a causal fan of soccer, very similar to hockey, in that spect. Im pretty excited about the Sounders FC team being here, I might go to a game or two next season. KJR is doing a great job of promoting this team right now.

    1. The Mariners should trade for a power hitting 1B, LF or DH.
    2. I would try and hire a younger guy that can engerize this team.
    3. I wished that I had a plan for the Diamondbacks in S3SL the first couple of years. That came more from the inexperience that I had.

    2. Asuming you're a basketball fan and like(d) the local team, are you sore about the Sonics moving to Oklahoma City? Are you still a fan?

    3. Why are you a 49ers fan and not a Seahawks fan?
    1. Tough question. But considering that the M's had losing seasons from 1977-1988. I would rather take the AL West every year and miss the world series. Plus, I think in those 21 years of winning the AL West they would eventually win one anyway. Just like those Atlanta Braves.

    2. I am a huge basketball fan, but I don't really have a team to follow. I did like this Seattle Sonics team they currently HAD. As for being sore, I'm pretty motherf***ing upset that our damn leaders that I VOTED in did a haphazard job of trying to keep the team here when they had the resources to do so. If your going to build Qwest and Safeco within three years of each other, you could have built a arena for the Sonics. Clay Bennett did a crappy job of trying to hide his intentions but you had to see that coming and they got buried alive. Mayor Nicholls sold out by taking the money without the assurance of an expansion/relocation team in this town. AT LEAST LET THE DAMN JUDGE DECIDE YOUR FATE YOU IDIOTS! Ill still be a fan, but mainly to follow Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. Im pretty partial to the Timberwolves still despite KG being gone but they should be decent in a year or two with Jefferson-Love and co.

    3. Jerry Rice is the main reason why im a Niners fan. I started watching football when I was seven years old. I was a fan of the Broncos for a year because of Elway but I got hooked to the Niners in 88-89 and been a fan ever since. The Seahawks can go jump off a bridge and die for all I care, I never liked them and probably never will.
