    March 28th Movie Pick 'Ums

There will be no Ice Age, because I gave you a freebie last week and it's projected that it will make 40 plus million more than the 2nd place new release. So on that LOL, we play on.

    ATL
Starring: T.I., Big Boi, and a bunch of other folks
Theatre count: a little over 1,500
Things to know: I'm betting Lynch is saying to himself "who the hell?", well Lynch, this movie stars some hip hop/rap people. It's only PG-13, which is different for coming-of-age-urban-dramas (i.e. 8 Mile, Get Rich or Die Tryin', Hustle & Flow). And um, yeah, ...that's all I got.

    Basic Instinct 2
Starring: Sharon Stone, David Morrissey, and David Thewlis
    Theatre count: 1,300
Things to know: A smart person will not bother wasting money to see this, knowing it's cheaper to watch soft core porn on Cinemax or find stuff on the intraweb. This is clearly a sequel that should never have been thought of. Sharon Stone's career is just about similar to Jaret Wright's, she came out with a bang and now she needs to be put to sleep.

    Slither
Starring: Nathan Fillion, Elizabeth Banks, Michael Rooker
Theatre count: a little over 1,700
Things to know: This is more of the gross out humor/horror film rather than some straight graphic hose down ala The Hills Have Eyes. And James Gunn can write some funny things. Nathan Fillion has a cult following thanks to Firefly/Serenity. Elizabeth Banks should just take off all her clothes, cause she was smokin' in The 40 Year Old Virgin.

    Poll dance, my pretties.
We're changing up once again next week, just cause.

Slither, yeah. I can only take one snake movie per year, and I am holding out for Snakes On A Plane. Sorry.

Am I the only one who actually liked Ice Age? LOL. Shit's a kid movie, but was good.

Slither... isn't a snake movie. Although the word slither immediately brings up the idea of snakes. But it's not snakes.

I liked Ice Age, cause of Sid. And c'mon, Dennis Leary provides the voice to the sabretooth tiger, that's good stuff in itself.

A worm is not a snake! That's like saying a bat is a bird.

ATL, If I had to pick one... Unfortunately I wouldn't pay to see any of them and I love to go see movies.
"They asked me if I wanted the ball in Game 6, and I said yes. I'll always say yes. That's what I did with Jack McKeon. I told him, 'Let me see how I feel tomorrow.' I went out, did a long toss, came in and said, 'I'll pitch, I want it, I want to do it.' And it ended up working out." -Josh Beckett

There's a bump in the air.
    Marshall: MILSWANCAs?
    Ted
: Wait, I can get this. Mothers I'd like to sleep with and never call again.
    Barney: Circle gets the square!
