Is this an honest poll, or subliminal sexual preference poll?

My dogs are trained to shit in my backyard. They both fetch, do tricks, and they, like cats, no how to sleep. They also have learned how to open the back door and bathroom door. Your cat plays with yarn. YAY.

    Cats.

My cats (cat now) are very smart. They come when you call them, they jump up and sit/rub against us, etc.

And as mentioned here already, cats make you work for their love, which is why I think they're smarter than dogs. Dogs are just all "pant, pant, I love you" right away. Cats are like: "heyyy, you gotta earn it."

I like their fur better, I like that they don't jump on you when you don't want it and I like that their tounge is dry and rough instead of slobbery(our cat likes liking you with his dry tounge). They also smell better and are better groomed. Go Cats!

My reaction to what you quoted was the same:

I'd rather not have to leave my door ajar just so my pet can go outside and piss and shit.

So, unless you're telling me your dog knows how to turn a door knob that's not a plus in my book.

And not owning my place, installing a pet door is out of the question.

I'm guessing cat lovers also don't like ****s. Cause, you know, you "have to earn it".

My cat will only play with these little mice that have pebbles or beads in them wrapped in yarn that make noise when you shake them. He'll come running if you shake it, then you throw it and he'll run after it, bring it back to you, drop it, and scream at you to do it again. Sometimes he steps on the mouse and stomps it with his back foot like a rabbit thumping the ground... I don't know why he does that. THe only thing I can think of is that he's trying to "kill" the mouse.
