I find it hilarious the face Jack Bauer makes whenever the redhead does something batshit crazy.
I just started watching season 1 last night. My wife and I couldn't turn it off, I have to say it is one I have always wanted to take time out and watch and I was happy to oblige last night. What a great first season!
Yeah, season 1 was the tits. I still believe Ira Gaines and Kevin Carroll were the last truly frightening "bad guys" because they made it personal for Jack. The villains from thereafter in the series seem too much like cartoon characters. (e.g. Jon Voight, really?)
Ironically, Gaines uttered my favorite quote out of the whole series:
"Well you see Dan, you're either dead or you're not, there is no such thing as sort of dead...here...let me show you..." <BAM>
Way to go, Jack. Maybe instead of fiddling with the wiring of the kid's bomb and inadvertently setting off its timer and eventually blowing the kid up, you could have..uh..taken the vest off him?
And for the love of the God, put an end to sub-plot hell. Cut the number of episodes and rename the show "16" or "17" if you have to.
I have recently finished season 4. Still on the first disc of season 5. This season 5 started off with a bang though. Unbelievable first episode!
24 has been canceled. Chloe confirmed via a tweet that this season is the final one.
